Fictitious Tombs Detected at 4 Cemeteries

East Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park and Cemetery predicted there are dozens of fictitious tomb at four cemeteries. The suspicion is already proved at one cemetery, that is Pondok Ranggon.

We’ll investigate and uncover the case fully

Christian Tamora Hutagalung, head of agency, said his side manages 30 cemeteries. Four of them are Pondok Ranggon, Penggilingan, Utan Kayu and Pondok Kelapa. Those four are indicated have fictitious tombs.

“We’ll investigate and uncover the case fully,” he said, Monday (7/25).

Tombs in Jakarta will Be Checked Routinely

According to him, tombs with plaster and ceramic are difficult to be investigated.

Minar (51), one of freelancers at Pondok Ranggon cemetery, stated fictitious tomb is allegedly occur since 2010.

“I know this case since 2010, and I know who create the fictitious tomb,” he stated.
